He completed private pilot, instrumental rating & commercial pilot in the first attempts with high grades.

Awards, honors: Salutatorian, National Merit Commended Scholar, Illnois State Scholar, AP Scholar, three-time All-State musician, nominated for IHSA All-State Academic Team, and Daily Herald Academic Team honorable mention.

Sonam will be attending University of Illinois at Chicago’s Guaranteed Professional Progam Admissions by the College of Medicine in Fall 2009.

Prina Shah, daughter of Chandrakant and Niru Shah, currently residing in Schaumburg, Illinois, graduated with double degrees: PharmD (Doctorate of Pharmacy), and MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, on May 18th, 2008. At this time, Drake University is one of a few institutes to offer such a combination to Pharmacy students. While working at Walgreen’s during her academic years, she developed interest in the clinical arena and has accepted a Staff Pharmacist position at Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. In the coming weeks, she will be preparing to clear the North American Pharmacy Licensing Exam and Illinois Pharmacy Law. She certainly agrees with the saying “The tassel is worth the hassle” and will start her career in late June. Her family is extremely proud of her and wishes her the very best in future. Congratulations to Prina from our Oshwal community.

Congratulations to Milan Dipak Shah (son of Smita & Dipak Shah) of Lemont, Illnois, on his graduation from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Milan has been very active in various activities at Lewis University. He was a president of South Asian Student’s council, where his leadership encouraged a variety of activities in fashion shows, music and dance programs involving all different cultures. Milan always participated in making a difference in the lives of other students as well as providing new ideas to the Board of Directors to achieve a close knit community between students and management. Milan is seeking a position in business administration & management, currently assisting the family business. Congrats!!!!! keep up the good work.
