The 2003 Annual Thanksgiving gathering was held at the Jain-Hindu Temple of Wappingers Falls (near Poughkeepsie), New York, on Thursday, November 27, 2003.

About 70 Oshwals attended, including some newcomers. The event began at 2 PM, with appetizers and mingling. Manisha Shah gave an overview of what has been accomplished in the past year, and Ramila Shah mentioned some more details about the next USA-Canada gathering taking place in 2004. Everyone got involved in a game where random props were given to groups to create an impromptu skit. Finally, a catered dinner was served. It was a fun event for all who attended
