Spring Picnic in New York, 2003

A picnic was held on Father’s Day, June 15, 2003, in Suffern, New York at the Clark Recreation Center. About 40 Oshwals attended from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, for a beautiful afternoon of food, games, relaxation, and conversation. On the menu this year was jellabi-gathia and chai for breakfast, bhel and roasted corn for lunch, along with watermelon and other snacks. Almost everyone played some ‘Ubhi-Kho’ and dodge ball.
