Kavita Shah, daughter of Priti and Nitin Shah of Nairobi, Kenya was awarded the Harrow’s Hero Award in October 2012. She is the first Kenyan Oshwal to be receive this award.
Kavita won the “Health and Wellbeing Volunteer of the Year” award for her hard work as an unpaid nutritionist within the 16 Children’s Centres in Harrow, England. She has also set up and delivered a range of courses to help people better understand the importance of healthy eating. As part of her award, she also received a cheque of £100 for her selected charity.
